(Scottsdale, AZ) Age Less: An Anti Aging Wellness Symposium is all about age rejuvenation and age reversal practices. It’s February 15, 2014 at the DC Ranch Homestead Community Center in North Scottsdale.

This anti-aging event features expert physicians and presenters, local vendors, yoga and meditation for a full day of education and entertainment. Food, music, samples, raffle prizes worth over $500 and fun are in store for attendees, too.

The Age Less event is focused exclusively on teaching attendees how to “hold back” the hands of time and even reverse the aging process. They will learn a series of health and wellness routines, practices and products. Key professionals include:

Dr. Tricia Pingel, NMD of Pingel Progressive Medicine will speak about overcoming adrenal fatigue and the latest in bio identical hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Pingel specializes in endocrinology and gastroenterology. Her new book on the subject will be available in spring 2014 through Rodale Publishing.
Dr. Phranq (Frank) Tamburri, NMD will speak on Men’s Health Practices, Prostate cures and prevention. He is one of Phoenix’s Top Doctors and receives numerous physician referrals for integrative prostate treatments.
Dr. Patricia Henthorn, D.C., of Balance & Motion Chiropractic will share the importance of aligning the spine to eliminate many ailments that take years off your life. The Spinal column houses the nervous system. “By proper alignment we create optimal regulation for every system of the body” says Henthorn.

Dr Bryan Glick will speak on “Cardio Health and Inflammation, the Silent Killer. By eliminating it we can overcome and prevent premature aging. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), he is trained as a primary care physician to treat the whole person instead of merely symptoms or illnesses.
Mind/Body/Beauty Speakers Include:

Author and Life Coach Howard Falco will speak on the topic of his book I am: the Power of Discovering Who You Really Are. He’ll teach attendees how to improve self-awareness and realize their greater potentials.
Lisa Williams-ANP-C, Beauty Expert/ Nurse Practitioner will share the latest news in non-surgical skin enhancements to regain youthful looks. She will showcase the pros and cons of the latest in laser and dermal fillers.
Harumi Maejima is a Yoga therapist and a highly skilled instructor with more than 500 Elite hours of training. She will teach attendees how integrating deep stretch and breathing can take years off the body.
Anne Vetter will provide a meditation session. Meditation is one of the Ultimate Age Rejuvenation Practices to look and feel young. As a certified instructor for the Chopra Center, Vetter shares the timeless teachings to maintain balance, heal the body and mind and aid people in personal transformation. She instructs in the USA and Europe.

Happy Holiday Season! December 5th, 2013

I know I’ve been away from this blog much too long, and while I have been working and making happened at studio I missed other cyber communication.
I have spent lots of time in the kitchen recently, creating and pre-prepared fresh veggies being delivered every week by Horny Toed Farm.
I am loving it and fulfilled my appetite every week.
I will share few of my easy and healthy recipes with you. Today I have for you a long time favorite of mine, because so easy and simple healthy soup. Carrots and ginger soup. Perfect for cold evening, or when you get tired of fancy holiday meals.
You can’t believe how easy to make it and so good for you!

Ingredients,
-3 tablespoons Olive oil or canola oil (or unsalted butter)
-6-7 large carrots, (if organic, no need to peeled, just wash really well) chopped
-1 medium size onion (better sweet onion)
-2 teaspoon minced ginger
-salt & pepper
-2 cups of Vegetable stock/broth (or chicken stock/broth)
-2 cups of water
-Drop of yogurt or sour cream on the hot bowl of soup, chopped chives for garnish
Method,
-Cook onions and carrots and ginger in a soup pot with olive oil until onions and carrots browned. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt.
-Add the stock and water. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook until carrots soften, about 20 to 25 minutes.
-Pour the soup into a blender (you want wait until little cool) and puree until
completely smooth.
-Add more salt if you need and dash of pepper.
-Drop teaspoonful of sour cream or yogurt and garnish with chopped chives.

I am proud to announce that I will be appearing on the live streaming yoga program, Take Yoga Now.
Take Yoga Now is a free, daily show that airs live events every weekday, to an audience of over 35,000 fans. It was founded two months ago by my friend Wendy Hartley, who wanted to give people an easy way to practice yoga from their homes, without requiring a fee as other sites do. She will soon be taking a leave of absence to recover from her upcoming breast cancer surgery.

I am happily joining the show to lead a yoga class every Monday until she is able to return, however
I am little nervous about getting in front of camera and am I good as Wendy……but I am observing my fear
and taking time to over come, just be my true-self. Be comfortable as my own skin.

My new yoga class “Yoga for Golden Age”. It is on Tuesdays at 11 am.
Its not about yoga for 50+.
Its about the “Golden” shiny age, young, beautiful and wise.
Now this generation of people’s 50+ is 10 years ago ‘s 35+ with beautiful body and capability and yet smart and wise, knowing how to enjoy life,
keep doing what they like and shine. SO I am dedicating to these people
who are continuing to enjoy their life.

Yoga for Golden Age is focusing on strenthing, flexibility and balance, as well little challenging postures.

Like Tina Turner. She is my here and inspiration! She is now 74 y.o and this concert was done in 3 years ago. She shows me her strong body and spiritual power. Isn’ she great!?
